Event of the day

Me and my family went to break fast at the Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam(KGPA) in Bukit Kiara,KL organised by the Persatuan Keluarga Haji Saaid Mufti(An organisation created to further improve the silaturrahim among family members. Allahyarham Hj Saaid was my great grandfather). So, how`s the food? ok aje la, takdela sedap sangat pun, walaupun perut sangat full! ahaha.. :D

Other than that, nothing much interesting happened today, I slept for most of the day! tak baik baik lagi demam dan batuk ni...ohok ohok!

Ketua Pemuda Keadilan, Mohamad Ezam Mohd Noor dan Ketua Dewan Pemuda PAS, Salahuddin Ayub membuat laporan itu di Balai Polis Dang Wangi di sini pada 5.20 petang.

Tahniah kepada kedua-dua ketua Pemuda Pembangkang ini yang ketandusan isu untuk melonjakkan nama parti dan nama mereka sendiri.

Sebak rasanya apabila sekali lagi menonton klip video pengumuman mengejut tentang persaraan semua jawatan dalam kerajaan dan parti, termasuklah jawatan Perdana Menteri oleh Dr. Mahathir ketika Perhimpunan Agung UMNO, Jun tahun lalu melalui sebuah rancangan 30 minit di Channel 9 sebentar tadi.. tup tap tup tap tup, dalam sedar tak sedar, masanya telah tiba. Masih semacam samar-samar lagi, masih semacam sukar hendak menerima kenyataan, atau mungkin memakan sedikit masa lagi untuk menerima kenyataan bahawa Dr. Mahathir bukan lagi Perdana Menteri Malaysia.

Saya sempat menonton liputan berita melalui Buletin Utama TV3, tentang sidang akhbar Dr. Mahathir sesudah Pak Lah secara rasmi menjadi PM kelima negara. Tertera di kaca skrin tv "Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Bekas Perdana Menteri" Sekali pandang tu semacam, ehhh! silap ke tuu! lepas tu baru terus tersedar, Dr. Mahathir bukan lagi Perdana Menteri Malaysia..hheh. Apa-apa pun syabas kerana peralihan kuasa di negara kita berlangsung dengan penuh lancar, tiada kekecohan timbul.

Sekali lagi, Salam persaraan buat Tun Dr. Mahathir dan selamat bertugas Pak Lah!

Two days left before Dato` Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi becomes the nation`s fifth PM! And it`s still like so unbelievable! Dr. Mahathir has been the Prime Minister before even I was born and until now I`m in my tertiery education, he`s still the PM! until now.. It surely takes time for all of us, Malaysians, especially golongan belia(yang sejak lahir hanya kenal Dr. Mahathir. Kenal PM yang lain-lain hanya melalui buku teks Sejarah) to adapt to our new Prime Minister. It`s not that I`m undermining or not having confidence in Pak Lah as the new PM but it`s just that, you see, Dr.Mahathir has been the no.1 man in Malaysia for the past 22 years! so its like.. I don`t exactly know how to express it here..eheh. Anyway Happy Retirement Sir! God bless Malaysia.

Can I make some political predictions here? ok. First. Dato` Seri Najib Tun Razak will be chosen as the new Deputy Prime Minister and he will be sworn in in front of the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong less than a week from Oct 31st. Next, the general election? hmm, i`d say after the month of Syawal, paling-paling lewat, before end of February..PAS and the other main opposition parties to win the general election? dream on.. BN will continue to win with larger majority than the 1999 election. PAS will lose to BN either one of the two east coast state, maybe Terengganu or Kelantan. heh, sounds like a political analyst am i? Nothing much though, it`s just that sometimes it`s kinda fun making prediction and stuff. I don`t really mind at all if all of the above predicted are wrong! haha.. sebab cam suke2 je. hehe.. I`ve predicted before when I`m in form 5(2000) that Dr. Mahathir will step down at the end of 2001, but yeah i was wrong.

eh, jangan silap anggap pulak, bukannye saya nak jadi Nujum Pak Belalang! ahahah, okay, enough on Malaysian politics. Back to work! chao.

woOohh, i haven`t slept yet since buka puasa at home yesterday. Sempat solat tarawikh kat Masjid Darul Ehsan, Subang Jaya. Met a few ex-schoolmates there; Famy, Manai, Zaid Kassim, Budin and et cetera. Mon, Kamil, Amir sume tu takyah tulis la, selalu jumpe time main bola petang2, ahaha..(tapi tulis gak :p) And then later on I straight went back to campus after the prayers.

Guess what, i and maTeng had spaghetti bolognese for our sahur..room delivery lagi tuu! Malas nak keluar bilik nye pasal..aHah

Musim semua orang tak sihat. Saye dah tak demam dah tapi masih sakit tekak dan batuk-batuk. Tapi sangatlahhh tidak suka nak makan ubat batuk!! kalau ade pil ubat batuk, memang dah lama makan dah! hahaha..pastu plak dah tau batuk bukannye reti nak jage pantang makan minum. Dari dulu lagi kalau batuk ke sakit tekak ke, memang selambe je minum air sejuk, air bertin dll..hehehehahahohoh. Bali pun tak sihat kan? ke dah baik dah? ehhe.. Faizul dan Andri pun demam dan batuk gak! Dave@shah minggu lepas kena demam campak. mc dua minggu! gile betol budak ni! hahah petang tadi Stan(budak Terengganu murtad,eHhe) dah balik Melaka, kena demam campak! berjangkit dari dave la ni, ahahaha..nasib baik saye mase sekolah dulu dah pernah kena.hehe.. Baru semalam kitorang gelak-gelakkan si dave ni kena demam campak, tengok-tengok stan plak kena hari ni! hehehe.. dapat mc seminggu! Pantas sungguh penyakit merebak dalam kampus ni, heheh.. :p

SIX DAYS LEFT BEFORE YAB DATO` SERI DR. MAHATHIR MOHAMAD STEP DOWN AS PM..

WAaah lamanya tak update. Not because of assignments or whatsoever, the only reason is first because of the pitas.com weblog server and now another problem came along, the network in the campus. I`m not about to complain again here. Bukan sebab ape, tapi dah tak larat dah. ape yg CITS suruh buat untuk mengelakkan dari jangkitan cecacing yang menjangkiti jaringan-jaringan server MMU yang menyebabkan server lembab, install patch itu ini, et cetera et cetera.. kite ikut je, semua dah buat..hmm.tunggu dah lihat sahajela ye, 3 hari dah network camni! oh btw, i`m at home right now, happily using my streamyx connection.

SoOo, what did you guys did during Deepavali? Went to open houses? party? celebrating sane sini? Well, as for me and 6 others(stan,maTeng,dave,Razie,Ijam and Jimmi) of my friends, we went to the Berjaya Times Square! gile ramai orang!! memang silap kitorang pegi time public holiday! haahhaha.. But anyhow, we really really enjoyed ourselves there, riding on the indoor roller coaster, and all the games inside the theme park, i can`t remember what their names are, bende yang pusing2 tu bikin pening kepale jek semua2 tu..ahahaha... alaa sape yang dah penah pegi tahu nye laa..hahaha..

Oh yeah, one more thing i would like to write here.. This is the first time that I felt like I`m utilising all of the public transport available in KL. ahahaha..er except for bus lah. We went to KL by using the ERL Transit(the KL-KLIA express), the KL Monorail, STAR-LRT, Putra-LRT and lastly the ERL again. Only missed out the KTM Komuter..heheh. At first we planned to go by car, but suddenly something happened and dave couldn`t bring along his car. Naik satu kereta tak muat la kan and so all seven of us went to the Putrajaya ERL Station and took the train from Putrajaya straight to KL Sentral. This is the first time we travel on the ERL.. Mind you, it was soOoooO lajuuuuu gilee, only about 14 minutes from Putrajaya to KL, although it`s stated there 10 minutes, but still, sangat laju wooOo, hahaha..and we went to the Berjaya Times Square using the KL Monorail. Pastu nak balik naik Monorail takleh dah sebab servis Monorail tu sampai 8pm je.. So, we walked for about 300 metres from the Times Square to the Hang Tuah Star-LRT station. We went back using the STAR-LRT to Masjid Jamek and took the Putra-LRT from there to KL Sentral and took the ERL back to Putrajaya! bestgile balik ke Putrajaya tren kosong! kitorang berenam je dalam gerabak tu,hahaha.. borak-borak disusuli dengan gelak ketawa memecah kesunyian gerabak keretapi ERL..ehehe..(dah pukul 11 malam waktu ni)

Balik kampus, network masih down, seperti yang telah dijangkakan pun. Kitorang sume pun main UNO sampai semua dah naik mengantuk. Lepas tu pegi supper kat Darussalam, Precint 9, Putrajaya. Balik terus tido. Bangun tido. Balik Subang. Kembali ceria dapat online. Check emails yang berlonggok termasuklah spam yang sangat dibenci. Dapat beberapa testimonial friendster baru. hahahahahohoho.. sekain al-kisah setelah sekian lama tak update blog. :p

NEWS (october 20, 2003): This sucks, remember about a week ago when a drive broke on this server and I got it replaced and recovered everythign from backups? Well the NEW drive they put in broke yesterday, because it looks like the server place used an old crummy drive instead of putting a new one in. I have restored from the most recent backups, but some of your most recent entries will not be showing up yet if you updated in the last week or so, but I'm sending the new/broken drive to a backup recovery place and will see what they can get off it, it sucks that this happened just as the server backup program was running so the backups aren't as recent as they could be. I'm extremely sorry for this, this is the first time in almost 5 years of running this site that something this nasty has happened, but rest assured I am sparing no expense to recover the data from the days that aren't in the most recent backup. CNN.com says our Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar has apologized for some 'misunderstanding' at the OIC Summit arising from Dr Mahathir's keynote address.
But Al-Jazeera says the contrary: Malaysia has defended its prime minister's remarks about Jews, saying Islam is not anti-Semetic and the problem is Israel.

Linkin Park live in Kuala Lumpur
WeehoOooo!! The Linkin Park concert was simply awesome, splendid, magnificent!(er, isn`t all of these words are same meanings? hehe) and such a superb live performance by Chester, Mike, Brad, Joe, Rob and Phoenix! Plus the sound system and the audio effects were again(i don`t really know what`s the exact word to describe) was simply superb! When Chester announced their next song which was a song from the Reanimation album, i was quite skeptical about the sound effects and all, but it turned out really really greaAat! it`s just like you`re listening to the cd!(especially the drum beats) hehe

Okay, here goes my story on last night`s marvellous event. I`ll try to make this one as short as possible, sebab ada orang tu laa kan, dia kata kita ni berlagak dapat tengok konsert Linkin Park yee?? ahahah :p I met quite a number of familiar MMU students there plus some of my ex-schoolmates. Alright, we(me,dave, faizul and his gf,stan and maTeng) arrived at Stadium Merdeka at around 4pm and as soon as we walked our way towards the the stadium from our parking lot, i met zainal kecik with his Uniten friends, haha. Later on, while queuing at the gate entrance(sangatlah bosan dan panas menunggu untuk masuk! huhoOh), i received an sms; "wakakaka, tengok Linkin Park jugak?.hahaha" and it was from amira juliana busuk and she was about ten metres away from me standing in front of the gates. hahahAa..ehh eh, ni cerita pasal konsert Linkin Park ke cerita pasal jumpa orang je nih, kohohkoh.

To cut short of my story, the concert started off with performance by Too Phat and DJ T-Bone & DJ GoldFish, Eddy and another guy from Gerhana Ska Cinta, the Teh Tarik Crew guy(i forgot his name) plus a few more which i can`t remember. haha, here`s an interesting or a rather amusing story which i`d like to share,hehe.. There`s this one quite tall and to a certain extent annoying guy, standing near us and he was like shouting "Too Phat sucks!" with full emotion for a few times the moment Joe and Malique set foot on the stage and hoping for the crowds to to join him.heheh. ok i need not elaborate more on this `cos the main point in which i`m gonna write here is.. when Too Phat was singing their third song, 'Clap To This'.. guess what that guy did? He actually sang the song dengan penuh semangat and he knew the song lyrics as well! ahahah, and then when dave@shah looked at him(how should i say 'pandang slek' in English? ahaha), and when noticed, he suddenly stops singing for a while(tiba-tiba terasa malu kot,hehe), kehkehkeh.. kelakar betul laa engkau ni Ahmad Karim bin Dollah(bukan nama sebenar)..

Linkin Park finish off their concert with their first Hybrid Theory single, 'One Step Closer'. fuhh, it was indeed a very tiring night for all of us, letih dan penat,hahaha, tapi sangat seronok! While we were lepaking and resting on the field, i noticed a few very familiar and obviously i knew them la, my ex-schoolmate seniors, Shamsul, Mohsin, Ilham and i can`t remember the rest. We took some pictures here. And when we`re on the way out of the stadium, jumpa faradila pulak(my DM classmate) and her friends.. Lepas tu pulak jumpa Azhari@Ary also another coursemate of mine..hehe..gile ramai budak MMU. oh terlupa pulak, sebelum masuk stadium tadi dah jumpa Shukri & gf,nana dan geng2 MMU dia. Rasanya kenal Shukri(ex-SU) ni dah lama la jugak tapi tak la rapat sangat & tak pernah tegur, setakat tahu muka je, tapi tetiba plak kat stadium ni boleh bersembang, ehehe..

oit Bali mana kau sembunyi aa kat stadium tu? tak jumpa pun! hehe.. kaoru pun juga, tak nampak batang idong, ehhehe.. check out the photos! :)

Arrived in campus. For the first time ever since my alpha(pre-U) year, I went back to campus from Subang Jaya to Cyberjaya using the public transport, the KTM Komuter and the Cityliner bus.. haha..don`t ask me why, but it seems that i have no other option for the moment..heh.. IF and only if you don`t know and wanna take a guess how long it took me from the Subang Jaya station to KL Sentral to Serdang and then took the bus straight to Cyberjaya after passing through a few stops in Putrajaya? Alright, times out. The answer is 1 hour and 56 minutes! hahah..okaii I don`t know what`s the purpose of me writing these..hayiqhmfbxz. I guess i had nothing better to do right now? hohoh.

pheww..heh..Pitas.com had some hard drive problem and the server was down for more than 24 hours if i`m not mistaken, er i didn`t bother to count the exact time, hohoh.. Ya know, i was getting a bit worried of losing half of my blog archives! `cos this is the longest outage in Pitas history! hehe, mane la tahu, kot2 down forever la kan(hehehe). Thanks to strizzt, she suggested me to make some back ups and so i saved all of `em in my hard drive.. hehe..

ey, did i told you that i shook hand with Anuar Zain(hohoho) at the Putrajaya Petronas station a few days ago? When Anuar was walking from the counter to his Satria GTi, maTeng was saying to me, "ehh, hensem jugak eh Anuar Zain dengan rambut panjang dia tu.. dalam tv takdela hensem sangat.." hahahohohehe :p

Tukar topic pulak. I love my Ghazal classes! although it`s a four hour class(it`s like 3 hours of practical and sometimes 1 hour of theory) but i(or should i say we) really really enjoy every minute of it! Saya sangat sangat enjoy bermain alat-alat muzik ghazal! hehe =)

I Love Putrajaya
Arrived back in campus around 4pm. Went back to campus by Stan`s car. They(Stan & maTeng) slept over at Dave`s house in Arcadia,USJ 11. As we arrived in campus, there was still no electricity yet. While waiting for the electricity in the hostel block to resume, suddenly i thought of something, and so we went for Putrajaya! hehe..

Man! the view from the PCC hill was superb! You can see almost the entire Putrajaya from here..and even MMU too..hahah.

Oh i forgot, before we went to the PCC, we went to the Souq(Souq is a Persian word that means a street of small stalls) near the Putra Mosque. I met my former school teacher(Datin ape ntah, damnit i forgot, hehe) and her daugther(also former schoolmate), Nor Intan.. At first i was kinda reluctant to go and tegur her `cos i forgot her name! hahahah..but at last tegur jugak! hehe.. We chatted for a while, talk about this and that and all..and at one moment, she said that she`s now currently teaching in a school somewhere in Precint 16, Putrajaya if i`m not mistaken. and the conversation goes something like this;
Cikgu : cikgu sekarang duduk Putrajaya, mengajar kat sekolah kat Precint 16.
shahnon : oOo.. sekolah yang macam ada stadium tu ekk?(padahal tak tau pun Precint 16 kat mana & tak tahu pulak situ ada sekolah.. main belasah cakap je ni, hehe :p)
Cikgu : eh sekolah kat Putrajaya ni semua ada stadium(sambil tersengih)
shahnon : *ahahah..tak mampu berkata apa-apa, hanya mampu terketawa kecil, * cis cikgu ni..eheh
